Enable Smart Input in the Options. Open the sample client from the Tables exercise and go into Screen 11, Interest Income. Type one of the list descriptions in Name of payer. You should see that the program automatically inserts the list description when you type the first letter of the description.
Enabling Smart Input in the Options eliminates the need to access the [Ctrl]+[T] list. Smart Input inserts matching descriptions from lists as you type the description in the field.

You can access the Options by clicking the Options icon
on the toolbar or pressing [Ctrl]+[O].
You should now be familiar with the use of lists and Smart Input, and Smart Input should be set to Enabled in the Options.
Problem: I can't access the Setup tab in the Options.
Solution: You have been denied access to this option. See your network or program administrator.
