You can use Sticky Notes to put reminders in client detail or on a form. When you create a note, a small icon displays where you created the note. When you point to this icon
, a box with the text of the note displays. You can also view the contents of a note by double-clicking the icon. You can create global notes that you can view on any form. You can also create client-specific notes that can only be seen when you are viewing the detail input or any form for that particular client.
To create a global Sticky Note:
Note: If you leave the Client Specific box checked, this note will only be viewable for this client.
To create a client-specific Sticky Note:
You can use Go to Note to quickly find a note, regardless of where it was placed.
To use Go to Note:
You should have one client-specific and one global note entered in the program.
Problem: The Client Specific box is dimmed.
Solution: You are placing a note within a detail input screen that is specific to a client.
